Arcane Thievery not disabling skills?
Arcane Thievery is quite possibly my favorite skill. I've been using it lately in my build for Sorrow's Furnace with henchmen, and everything seemed fine at first. Today, though, I noticed that the skills I've stolen were still being casted, well after I stole them. Monks were still spamming Orison and Priests of Sorrow were still resurrecting, even though I was supposed to be holding their respective skills in the palm of my hand.
It wasn't consistent, either. Most of the time, it was really disabled; but at least twice during my run today, I had AT not work as advertised.

Those monsters, for some reason, have two of those skills.

The monk bosses (brohn anyway) are unaffected by diversion or arcane thievery. I have payed less attention to the priests of sorrow, as most groups have just one and that one tends to die very fast. Diversion I have never gotten to work on shutting down brohn's healing, and arcane thievery had to long of a recharge for me to test multiple times. This, of course, makes it very hard to shut down the monk bosses, as they have near infinite energy, an incredible energy regen, and hexes such as backfire are half duration.

I do believe I have gotten orison of healing twice with diversion, in less time than the skill should be able to recharge, yet still had to deal with it. I could be wrong of course, with a three second duration I find it a bit hard to tell whether the hex got his skill or just wore off.

How far apart were these Diversion hits? Bosses get half duration to any hexes or conditions applied to them, and half recharge time on all skills.

Some monsters have even more than 2 copies of skills, terrorweb dryders for example have 4 copies of fireball. I saw them rip through all of them when I had spellbreaker on once. Quite intense.

Um... spellbreaker doesn't make skills recharge. It just makes them fail and you lose the energy. It's just like any other skill, for example spirits. If you move before they finish it doesn't have to recharge.
